Southern Star Pet Boarding offers a climate controlled, clean, friendly atmosphere for your pets. Our boarding facility opened in October 2010. It provides indoor/outdoor dog runs as well as totally indoor dog runs. We have 8 grassy outdoor play yards as well as a covered area for when the weather isn’t ideal.
For our feline friends, we have a separate cattery with cat condos and a play room.
We allow you to bring your pets favorite bed, toys, bones, food, etc. to make them feel more at home during their stay.
Unless you bring your pets food from home, we feed purina at no additional charge. However, if this is not what you feed your dog at home we highly recommend bringing their food with them to avoid upsetting their stomach.

Your pets will be treated like our family while at Southern Star Pet. We like to think of their stay as a vacation for them while their owners are away!
All pets must have proof of current vaccinations given by a veterinarian on file prior to their arrival.
For dogs these include
- Rabies (1 or 3 year)
- Parvo/Distemper (1 or 3 year)
- Bordetella (6 month required)
Boarding rates for Dogs:
- Under 25 lbs. – $20.00 per night
- 26-50 lbs. – $22.00 per night
- 51 lbs. and up- $24.00 per night
Boarding rate for Cats:
- $16.00 per night
Additional pets sharing the same run will receive a 15% discount.
Day Boarding during our regular hours is available for half of the overnight price.
Pets staying for more than 3 consecutive weeks will receive a 10% discount.
We offer a 10% first responders and military discount.
Southern Star Pet is closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Easter Sunday.
Pets are still cared for on these days, but we do not have pick up or drop off times.
